There are lots of famous landmarks in the UK that are huge tourist attractions – from ancient monuments like Stonehenge to historical buildings like the Tower of London – however, hidden amongst these famous tourist hotspots are also lesser-known places that are quietly breaking records up and down the country! In the pretty Conwy harbour is a small red brick cottage that is approximately 72 inches wide and 122 inches high at its tallest point. If you are in Devon, another popular holiday hotspot, head to the city of Exeter where you will find the UK’s narrowest street! Parliament street was built in medieval times and in some places it is just a shoulders width in diameter! Definitely not built for two people coming in opposite directions!

History lovers will adore St Mary’s Church in the picturesque village of Kemply – this little Norman era church is home to the oldest roof in the whole of Britain and features many beautiful medieval features. The best time to visit is in spring when the whole area is alive with daffodils.
