After your manuscript is done, print formatting requires 3 to 5 days. This is such things as setting margins, what fonts to use and how you set up the page. Your printer, on the other hand, needs time to produce printing plates and make-ready machinery. It has colour calibration, for both covers and test runs to the highest quality. With a rush job this can drop to 24-48 hours, but you will pay substantially for such speed.

2–3 business days for small volumes (<100 books)
Short Run Digital: 5-7 days for 100 – 500 copies
Offset Printing: 10-15 Days for quantities >1000 copies.
Binding and Finishing (2-3 days)
This may take additional time due to perfect binding, trimming/thickness and quality checks etc. Hardcover books: After the paper is printed, everything else is almost bound by this point so adding on 3-5 more days for all extra binding steps.
